Around the World a Bit at a Time

Travels: Past, Present and Future

About Me

Once upon a time I went travelling for 5 weeks up the East Coast of Australia. Now, Australia is a very large country and to even see one side of it in that space of time makes for a very busy 5 weeks. The odd email to friend back home can’t even begin to describe how much you have seen and done. The photos, though great mementos for you are boring to other people because, travelling on your own, they’re mostly of scenery which, to someone who has never been to the places, all look the same. You can easily take 100 photos in a day and, lets face it, who wants to see them all.

I always keep a travel journal when I’m away, but again, its mainly about people that I’ve met once or twice and will never see again, or pretty views etc… in other words an outsider would lose interest in reading my long winded ramblings when, in reality, all I want to do is let people know what a great thing it is to travel and to be alive in such a beautiful world.

That is why I started a blog. For every day of travelling I did in Oz, I tried to post one picture a day (just one) and let it do most of the talking.

As well as Australia, you can also catch up with my adventures in New Zealand, Europe, Canada, the USA and soon, South America

I was hoping we could use your ‘scribing’ talent for our website.

the best shows you’re not watching.com

You blogged about Flight of the Conchords which is one of our featured “BSwatch” shows. We’re hoping to round up a few people who can occasionally contribute perspective (via an article/blog) on the shows – maybe a recent episode, future direction, plot shortcomings etc.

    What’s in it for you?

Primarily a larger audience back channeled to your blog. We don’t pay but the site has a lot of promise and we’re pretty excited about getting it off the ground. Let me know what you think.

    Thanks

    T.
